About Us

Zakaria Fettaka

P.Eng., CFPS, CWBSP

Zakaria completed his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Ottawa in 2011. He later completed a 3-year Certificate in Mechanical Systems in Buildings (Certificat en mécanique du bâtiment) at La Polytechnique de Montréal (2012-2015), in which he developed a particular interest in fire protection while taking system design and hydraulic courses.

Zakaria later worked for an engineering firm as a project manager and further developed his fire protection expertise while working on multiple projects (see projects list below).

Zakaria is a member of Professional Engineers Ontario and Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) and member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). He is also recognized by the NFPA through knowledge, experience, and examination as a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) and Certified Water-Based Systems Professional (CWBSP).
